Nice 5 year old thread ressurection! :p

My '92 4x4, auto with 265s and 4. 10s was pushing 17 tops. And I drive it fairly easy... usually. :) I just put 295s on it, though... and I think it is having a big effect on mileage. A positive effect. I haven't put enough unloaded miles on it to compare those numbers, but with about 12k in tow, my mileage has improved with the bigger tires. My guess is I'll be around 20 unloaded now.

WOW, must be somethin' wrong with mine.

Stock with nothing done to it, 3. 07 gears it got 15.

I tweaked on it very little now it runs in the 16's.

None of it towing.

KO

20 to 22 MPG, monday trew friday afternoon empty 65 to 70 MPH on highway.

less than 8MPG+25 LBS of NOS = Friday night to sunday afternoons.

good to go !!

I'm getting 20mpg (Imp. gallon) in the cold (0-20 below celcius) Ontario weather right now, running 265/75R16's (same height as the 235/85's) I can see 21-22 if I run long distance with the cruise at 60-62mph.

My old 6. 2 will see 23-24 with no load and 3. 42 gears, but she doesn't pull a load within a country mile of the Cummins. Still a sweet old truck to drive and get's a ton of attention.

Sure do wish the Goat had a heater like the 6. 2 though... brrrrrrrrrr !!

I seem to be getting about 18-19 mpg mostly highway and cruising at 60mph and 60 miles one way to work. That's with 3. 07's and 727 slushbox.

I guess my fuel pump is going bad or somthing. :)

I have 35's on 3. 55 gears, low stall conveter on a intercooled 93 with a hx35w (14cm i think). To work and home I have two 1000 foot grades I climb- I get 15 there usally. 14 in winter. On longer road trips I get up to my record 18- down to 14. 5 last weekend to bend and back(3 hours each way).

I cruise at 1800-1900 rpm- 7lbs of boost @ 65-70mph. I got the same milage with smaller tires, but with the engine winding out to 2100 or so @ 70 and 6 lbs of boost. hmm... wonder if i really need to get new injectors or somthing?

19-20 MPG highway depending on speed. 18-19 MPG in town depending on how much stop and go or idling.

Wish my '05 Dually got something even close. More like 15 MPG empty and 9-10 MPG pulling a big fifth wheel. :--)

20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 20. 5 and oh yea there was that time i got 16. 5 pulling my boat :)

NC mileage

Between Raleigh, NC (mid-state) and Asheville, NC (western NC) with the cruise on 70, I average 25-26 MPG. In-town, around 21-22mpg. 93 D250LE, Extended Cab, 8' bed, full bed Leonard Bed Topper. In winter, just a tad less, but never below 20mpg...
