Does anyone else have a similar equipped truck like mine in my signature? I have never been on a dyno and was interested if anyone with a similar truck like mine has dynoed their truck. What kind of numbers did you see?

Thanks

Ken

Stock my 99 put down 200. 6 at PDR. With the II's & an EZ I would have to guess over 300 or right at 300 RWHP. Many have run this setup so I'm sure someone else will chime in.

What was the truck rated at from the factory? 215 horse power? Just curious how close the factory specs are to a dyno.

Thanks,

Derek

Yep! Exactly! Mine is rated at 215 flywheel hp & on Piers' dyno I ran the 200. 6 at the rear wheels. Go figure..... :-laf

I know mine is an HO, but the EZ/DD2 combination made 347/762 on the Dynojet. I don't believe a 1999 truck has an HY35-9W, and a 2001 HO certainly doesn't.

Yep, both have the hx35-12's... Unless some would have changed it. .

All auto 1998. 2-2002 24-valve trucks have a hy 9cm. All manual 5 or 6 speed trucks have a HX12CM turbo.

I know the auto's in 98 and 99 have the hx. I'm not sure when the autos went to hy's but I'm thinking it was 2000. Someone will chime in and confirm though. :D

My 01. 5 with the auto and the HY 9cm turbo was dynoed completely stock at 201 HP and 393 Lbs. According to Cummins it has 235/460 stock so that is about right if you take into account the 15-20% loss to driveline heat. All I have added since then (so far) was the Edge comp with no tap so I assume I have the 65 rear wheel addition and 120 pounds which would put me around 267/513. I dynoed on a Mustang dyno.

Thanks for clearing that up.

But the 01 and 02 manuals have HX turbos.

I thought the question was about the turbos on the autos ;) ... Everyone knows the sticks have the HX's... don't they? :-laf
