I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 and i am looking for a set of 17 inch aluminum wheels off a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4. My question is, will they fit my truck?

yes, they will fit, just not the other way around

I thought about doing this but I was afraid of making my gear ratio higher, I looked at a friends 17" tires on his 2500 and the load range isen't as high on my 16 tires. His was as Michelins and I have the MS.
