I have a 1996 Ram 2500 4x4 8800 lb gvw... . I have two questions relative to wheel caps:
Stock Wheels:
It came with some awful aftermarket wheels... I ditched those and got a set of stock 16" wheels, and ordered some stock replica center wheel covers from eBay. My questions is where can I get the correct lug nuts to hold those? Will the lug nuts from my 2003 that held the stock center caps work?
17" Stock Wheels off of a 3rd Gen:
I have a set of chrome clad steel wheels off of my third gen truck that have my snow tires on them. I am using the stock lug nuts from my 2003 truck to hold them on. The front accepted the stock center cap from the 2003 no problem. The rear will not accept the stock 2003 center cap or the stock replica 1996 center cap due to the depth of the wheel hub. Does anybody know where I can get a set of caps taht will sit on that combination? If not, anyone got any wheel spacers that will work (maybe 1/4" or 3/8" should do it).
Thanks
