but recently while cleaning some toxic waste that my kids had applied to the wall I thought of how stained my wheels had become from winter grime and brake dust.

IT WORKS GREAT!!!

Aluminum, but based on how effortlessly it took it off I would think it would work on either. Non abrasive as well, wash off any remaining chemical and I can't think it will hurt anything... . legal disclaimer... yada yada yada---end of disclaimer.

I just cleaned up my stock wheels with these as you suggested and it worked great. Better than applying something and then having to wipe off the residue like I have to do with my Eagle Alloys!

Thanks for the great tip! My wife wanted to try it and I was afraid to use it on the RV - - - Well hat in hand I just apologized to her - - - We'll pick some up today!

The 05-06 (??) Polished Alumonum alloys have a clear coat over the Aluminum finish.

I experimented recently with a power buffer, foam pad and 3M Finessit II Rubbing Compound to remove fine scratches.

I may have removed the fine surface scratches a little, but not much.

I dont want to go through or remove the clear coat... ... . anyone here have any real life expereince here????????

Thanks,
