Wheel fitment question

Can a 20x9 wheel go on a 13. 5 wide tire and be safe. Or do I need a 20x10 wheel. the tires are 37x13. 5x20. I have asked a few guys who are selling these wheels on ebay and one said yes one said no? Thanks

Jasco, I would not worry with the 20 x 9" wheels and the 37x13. 5x20" tires... . I mounted my 37x13. 50x16" tires on 16x6" rear dual wheels and had no problem. Seriously, there was no excess mid-tire bulg and the tires looked perficly at home. By the way, I went with Dick Cepek FCII, what tires did you go with.

I am going with the new Kumho Venture MtKL 71. They are load range E and cheap. I hope they will last. They look like the Toyo Mud tires that are so popular. Thanks for the reply.
