Wheel interchange

Anyone know what year and wheels , Ford, Dodge or other makes, will interchange with a 1990 Dodge 2500 CTD 4x4, 16-8 lug wheels?

if i'm thinking correctly any stock ford or dodge wheel will fit, not stock chevy wheels. And any aftermarket wheel should probably fit. Somebody else throw in here if i'm wrong

I was told that the earlier Ford and Dodge wheels are the same. Also have heard that somewhere around 97 and up the wheels wouldn't fit a first gen. This is a good topic and I hope someone that knows will give us the lowdown. This topic is sorta like "who owns Cummins" Depends on who you ask.

Stan, I know that 97 Stock ford wheels will fit i used to swap those between that and a 93 Dodge. But other than that i've always been told that aftermarket wheels are interchangeable. OH yeah and i'll be alright over here. Just a year tour and then to Alaska for me.

I just tried a search on the internet and there are some web sites that look like they may give the answer to this. I don't have time to look right now and will try to get it tonight. Maybe by then someone will post the info here.
