Does anyone know if the stock 16" wheels off a superduty (like these) will fit on my truck? I'd like to find a second set of rims for my snow tires, and I'm pretty sure I can get a good deal on a full set of wheels like these around here.

No they won't fit.

Ford went to a metric bolt pattern in 99 when the superduty trucks came out. I think it is 8x170mm or something like that.

It would be nice if they did because there are some nice ford wheels and sometimes they go pretty cheap.

Yup the new Ford crap is 8x170mm. Ours are 8x6. 5, as well as GM. I believe that is 8x165mm, though I'm not positive.

Nate,

6. 5" = 165. 1

I still don't understand WHY the idiots at FoMoCo could have possibly thought it was a good idea to change the bolt pattern by 5 lousy millimeters. I would have been really upset if I planned on swapping wheels from one truck to the next to find that out. Now if they had changed it to 10 lugs or to a much larger bolt circle for strength I would understand, but 5 millimeters??? I guess nobody cares if anything is standard anymore...
