How are the wheels on my truck finished? A 04. 5 Laramie, so its the "premium" wheels. Is it polished aluminum, chrome, or what else. Mine are pretty dirty from mag-chloride, and I would like to clean them up. I'm guessing they'll never look new again, but if you know any tips let me know.

A magnet might just tell you if they are steel or aluminum!

I was under the impression that the premium wheels on the Laramie were chrome plated forged aluminum. That's what I have on mine.

Can the forged aluminum wheels be chorme plated again?

it might have the machine finished aluminum, I think it was '04. 5-05 that they started using the chrome plated wheels.

Yes chrome plated wheels can be re plated after the original chrome is removed.

Exactly..... the proper terminology is chrome cladded... . not plated.
