Ok, Monday I am planning on buying wheels and tires. At least I hope so depending on what I hear from you guys.

My options that I am looking at are all Eagle 16x8 8 6. 5 lugs

058 Have 4" backspacing and -11mm offset. Which I think is the best out of the group but I like the looks the least... http://www.americaneaglewheel.com/wheels_detail.cfm?id=23

101 Have 3 &5/8 backspacing and -20 offset. Like the looks better than the 058

102 Have 3 &5/8 backspacing and -20 offset as well. Like the looks the best.

How much are the 058 going to stick out less than the other two? And versus stock?

Any other eagles that look good and do not stick out very much?

I am just putting 285/75's on them so nothing to big... .

Any pictures of your guys eagle wheels mounted

Thanks a lot

I bought the 058's with beadlocks and I get LOTS of compliments! Cost was right around 600 with tax and mounting. I can email a pic if you send me your address. Chris

A few years ago I bought a set of the 058 Eagles for a 6. 5 Chevy I had. They looked good and I got them off the net for about $115 each. The bad thing about it was one wheel got lost in the mail and it took about over a month to get another one. Then one off the wheels had a pore hole in the casting so I had to send it back! It took another 3 weeks to get a new replacement . I finaly had the wheels on the truck for the summer and fall. I stored them in the wood shed for the winter. THEN when I went to put them on in the spring, I noticed ALOT of aluminum tarnishing taking place under the clear coat on ALL 4 rims!!! Now the wheels looked like they were a good 4years old with salty winters on them... NOT :( IMHO, I got what I paid for, the cheapist aluminum wheels I could have bought. Needless to say the 6. 5 is history along with the old looking new 058's.

I have the 101's

I bought one of the combinations that you are thinking of, 16x8 Eagle 101 with 285/75-16. I like tham a lot, but they do stick out from the fenders. I decided to put on Bushwackers Extend-A-Fender. They cover them exactly. The truck handles a lot better in my opinion, and like the looks of the truck better than the stock wheels. Not sure of the quality yet, but the looks are good at least. :)

I just put a set of 058's on my truck(guess I should update my sig ;) ). They were $349, shipping included from a guy on ebay, PM me if you want the name. I'll bet he has the other ones available as well.

I started to go with the 101 style, I like the smaller holes, but after seeing the 058's on my brothers ram, and then swapping them onto my own truck for a week(thanks Ross ;) ), I couldn't go back. The 058's give the truck a look like the alcoa's on a lot of big rigs. They might stick out 1. 5" more than stock rims, but this extra width makes the truck handle better. The turning radius might increase a little though. The 285's fit soooo much better on a 8" rim than the factory 6. 5". The cooper lt tires have a round carcass, and when placed on a narrow rim, have a very narrow tread-to-ground contact patch. This makes the handling very poor. The wider wheels flatten the tire out a tad, enough that the truck improves much better. Some tires actually work ok on the 6. 5" rim, but they should all work better on the 8".

I might have some pics of my brothers truck with the stock rims vs. the 058, haven't taken any of mine yet. I do have a pic showing how round the tires are on the narrow rim. PM me if you want, I can email them.

boondock,

Just put the 058's on my 95. Couldn't wait any longer since my new BFG's were cupping really bad on the stock rims. Really like the way my truck looks with the rims and got a good deal on e-bay $350 with lugs and caps. Trucks handling is much improved over the stocker and they do stick out like Willy's said. PM me if you want pictures...

Thanks guys!!!

My email is -- email address removed -- If you have to to send pics that would be great.

How much further will the 101 and 102 stick out then the 058's?

Smolteberg nice looking truck!!

I can get 058 with terra grappe (285) balanced mounted shipped for 950 and $20 ore for the other wheels if I would rather have those.
