Would I do better to keep the stock chrome steel wheels and buy aftermarket wheels later? I plan on a leveling kit in the future. Or, should I go ahead and buy the aluminum wheels from Dodge? I don't mind the looks of these wheels. Also what is the biggest tire I could run on factory wheels?

Stock alum. 17's on e-bay might be the trick for a good price. If you ordered the new ones for the 05, they'd probably be polished.

I had 315/70's on there before I raised the front with no rubbing... looks excellent after the 2. 5" lift.

I'd stay with the stock offset to keep it in the wheel well for sure though.

I have a very late model 3500 Laramie with alloy wheels. They are polished and look GREAT! I also have a set of steel wheels and they may be sitting in the garage for a while.

The alloys look just like the steel wheels. I have a picture of them one this website.
