2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Wheel Question

Hello all



On my 1998 i still have the factory wheels (16") with a 285 75 16. I am thinking of going up to 17" wheels but want to keep the same profile(backspacing). I think the backspacing is 4 5/8 on my 16" wheels but just wanted to confirm this( couldnt find any info in the search).



I also was looking for a nice 17"wheel. If anyone has any pics i appreciate it

Bud, I don't know what the backspace is on the '98 trucks. My '01 aluminum rims it's around 6". Check http://dodgeram.org for the factory specs on your truck.

I've only found one wheel that matchs the back space on my truck, Kent at KORE (formerly T-Rex) had Weld make a wheel specifically for the 3rd gens. It's a nice looking wheel, but a little out of my price range right now.
