I have a 99 Ram that currently has Schwab Ultras' with an outward offset. I was wondering what others are running SPECIFICALLY on the 99's? I like the wheels themselves, but they stick out furthur than I like & was wondering what wheels others are running with 285's or larger tires. I'm looking for a wheel that will accept my 285's, and stay more closely in the wheel well that my current ultras' don't do. The polished 2000+ aluminum wheels won't work due to the brake calipers.

TIA,

Clay

I have a '99 and I just had Les Schwab install 17x9 Alcoa look-alike Ultras and 33x12. 50s. The wheels/tires only stick out maybe 1 inch in back and 1. 5 inches in the front. I didn't want a combo that stuck out very far, if any, and I am very pleased with this combo. Even 33s look a little small in diameter on my QC/long bed. Going w/ the 17s let me jump up a load rating on the tires too.

33x12. 5x16. 5 BFG/AT's on 16x9. 75 Eagle 589's.

They stick out pretty far. Had to get some Bushwackers to pass inspection. Check out my gallery if you want to see what I'm talkin' about.

There are a couple of different offsets that Schwab offers. I have the Ultra 164's with 285's. Mine stick out more a little more than stock, but I don't even need flares. I know at leat in the 16x8 164's there are two different offsets available but alot of the time they stock the ceneterd ones which stick out.
