Wheel Weight

Any of you fellows notice this?My front tire RS looks like it has a wheel weight missing or they have some new kind of weights out to balance tires if they don't need much weight. To me it looks like the weight came off the mount. I have never seen one like this. I will get by La Grange Dodge on one of my days off next week and ask them about it. Tire runs smooth

One of mine was missing too off the back dual. Just the rim clamp was left, no lead weight.

I will look more closely at the wheels tomorrow when I wash the beast, and will let you know, I need to take mine back to the dealer and have them look at the cooling fan it is not loose but when the engine is running it looks as is the fan is out of round there is no noticeable vibration though so you might want to look at your fan also.

Wheel weights

I had also noticed on my '03 after washing it the first time that the R/F tire had a metal clip with no lead weight attached; after looking a little closer at the clip you can see the numbers . 25 stamped on it. It would be my guess that this clip is replacing the . 25 oz. wheel weights that had lead on them before. We could always weigh them if we wanted to be sure.

RBradley thats what my RF tire has on it. A metal clip. Have not looked at it that close to see if it has anything stamped on it but I will. Thanks for the info.

I just walked out to my truck and looked at the clip and it does have

. 25 stamped on it. Must be some new kind of weight they came up with. Leaned something new.

Bradley is correct. The clip that looks like the lead is missing is a . 25 oz weight. It is there for a reason, and only looks like it's not.
