Diesel Dynamics/May Madness

Northern CA dyno day

DH... now the 'Con sounds like a great getaway also... .

keep us in the loop as it gets closer. . if the home isn't an issue would love to head over there... .

I can take the ladies route through the tuff stuff as it's still open diff's and stock axels LOL

Nowel... . start thinking about another date for the Moab date

Gary you don't have to worry too much about the ladies route. Because last year with the help if spotter and a couple of properly places rock we managed to get a bone stock TJ with 31" tires and open front not sure if he had open in the rear or a limited slip through the whole entire Rubicon. He had so much fun he is going again this year. His hardest problem was going up the Big Sluice. Just remember keep all your tires on top of the big rocks and you are set man :).

Moab/Rubicon

I'm thinkin' I won't be ablt to get to Moab till after May Madness. Too much work to do for MM preperation. My have to blow off Moab and look to meeting the rock crawlers on the Rubicon.

Gettin anxious about going to moab, are we deciding on the 26th? I have a new tent to try out. I have some books that describe the trails, maybe we could do a few.

Did Baby Lionback one time and had the oil spurt happen.

Gonna look into the Airsep system to fix this.

Well, I finally went down a pretty steep one today. I'd say it was a good 20 degrees. I didn't loose any oil or make a mess. I'm still looking for steeper ones to test the AirSep on.

Edit: I sat and idled on it for a couple minutes too.

Thanks J , seems to work I guess... ...

Now I have to find a place to move my Aircompressor to fit that unit when I get it... ...

I do believe I will be out in Moab this weeekend (26th) any body else going to be there. If so lets try and hook up.

I'm Out

I'm too busy readying my truck for the May Madness event. No time to go to Moab till after May Madness.

Bummer:(

That just ain't fair, HVAC :{

I gotta get T-shirts, work with the hotel, etc. etc. to get the event ready. No time to squeeze any hp outta poor old Sickly :(

Hope ya do well on the dyno and at the strip :)

I just had to add for future reference that Easter Jeep Safari in Moab is ALWAYS a zoo... been doin it for about 6 years now, this was the first year in our '02 TJ... about 5,000 people out at a place called Potato Salad Hill... Sheriff's Dept eventually shut it down on "Big Saturday" because of all the people in a remote area.

The following weekend each year is their Car Show. Again, another very busy weekend and hard to get anywhere in town.

After that the weekends are bearable, but more and more people are finding out about Moab each year, making the summer months a bit crowded...

I'll try and get a picture of Potato Salad Hill up on my website. . along with the crowds this year.

Just my 2 cents.
