Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Wheels & Tires from 2000

I have a set of wheels and tires from my 2000 3500 and am considering purchase an 08. Will these work on my new truck? As I know the new trucks no longer use the 16" rims

No, they won’t fit because 17” wheels are needed to clear the brake calipers on the 2003-up Turbo Diesels.
