Ok, here is the stupid question. Are all 6 wheels on the '06 dually the same? Or are the 2 outside dual wheels different from the other 4? Thought I knew the answere until I read the owners manual.

No, they are all the same. All dually wheels are "hub centric" meaning they are aligned by the hub, not the lug nuts. That's why the tight fit around the centers. The only difference is the side you mount the skins on.

On second thought, I realized the confusion comes from the tires having to be mounted a certain way. Certain tires (like the OEM GY GSA's that came with mine) are directional or require a certain side "out".

But no, the wheels are all the same.

Guess I'm confused the back wheel can't be put on the front the offset is totally different

p-Bar - the outside dual wheel on a dually is just an inside wheel turned around. All six wheels have the same offset. The fronts and inside rears are facing the same way. The outside rears are facing the opposite way. The only time you'll see a difference is on a dually with aluminum wheels. Generally, the fronts are polished on one side and the rear outside on the other side so they generally aren't interchangeable. And with aluminum, the inside rears are usually steel. In the end, you'll have three pairs of different wheels! In this case, rotating the tires requires dismount and remount on different wheels.

With a stock dually, however, all six wheels are the same!
