Anyone know if the new axles will accept the old wheels, or have they changed the hub size like Furd & Chebby????????

new axle would probably accept the old wheels, but the new brakes won't allow for it. they are bigger than the previous body's brakes. you'd probably hit the rotor or caliper with the old style 16" rim. .

Nick is right. There is only about 3/8" to 1/2" (about 1. 0 to 1. 75cm) of clearance between the caliper on the new 13. 9" disc brakes and the new aluminum wheels. The bolt pattern might be the same, but I doubt very much you can fit a 16" wheel over the new brakes.
