Has anybody else noticed paint chipping around the rear quarters on the '03? The tires are close to the outside edge of the wheel well and they are already getting blasted with rock chips. I drive quite a bit on gravel, surely there is a simple cure. Maybe have the Rhino Man line the inner fenders and around the outside 3/4 to an inch? This is definitely one cool ride!

Mudflaps or splash guards.

You will get them on your rocker panels too.

If you dont want splashguards Line-x or Rhino Liner (or your favorite brand) applied along the rockers and lower part of the doors work very well.

That is a fine looking truck. I never was much for the stainless trim, but have to admit it does look good on yours and is much better than a sandblasted wheelwell. I knew somebody would have a simple solution. :D

Thanks for the compliment. I got them at Gino's but their made in china :( . I believe someone else out there has them and their made in the U. S.

This was a major problem on our '99. I traveled lost of gravel roads hunting fishing and camping. Finally got smart. Got mud flaps!!

For our '03 I got smarter... Put mudflaps on first day! Also Clear Bra on rocker panels, didn't want two tone paint nor stainless steel sheets on rockers. Will also have clear bra on hood and door edges.

John Deere's

I'll take pics tonight, I have some John Deere mudflaps on mine, do a decent job of blockin the rocks, I wish they were bigger though.
