Ive heard lots of people talking about the awsome potential of our CP3's. Some say it will fuel as good as a P7100 with the right engineering. I'm waiting for the day when there will be killer CP3 pumps and 200HP injectors. Its weird how 24V guys can get a hot rod VP44 and some Mach 6 (220hp injectors) and still be able to spray it.

Ive seen some good advancements in CP3 tech in the last 6 months but im waiting for the golden age of fueling for HPCR's. I see some trucks at 575HP with a stock fuel system, now picture that with a killer CP3 and some 200hp sticks.

Am I talking about something realistic, something thats 18months away?

Or am I just having wishful thinking?

Hopefully some of the people that have first hand experience with CP3 mods and injector development will add to this thread.

:)

See ya' at IRP. :-laf ;)

3rd Gens are starting to find the power.

((says prayer that the drivetrain and gaskets hold up))

50 lbs of boost and fuel to spare and the TST was only on 3/3...

Haven't opened 'er up yet. Sled pull will probably be the first real "test" :{

:--)

Don has 200 HP sticks that are supposed to hit the market within a couple weeks. Don't worry, it will happen. ;)

its about time. How come VP44's get to play w/ 200hp sticks and were stuck with 100hp when I was under the impression that our cp3 are better?

Is it because we have better electronics that can put the cp3 to the limit?

I'm just sitting back waiting for everything to get better.

Im 100% stock and only want to do things once.

where have you been DAN, hiding in a cave?, lol. I have a set of Dons 200 HP inj in my back seat, but i'm a little scared to put them in before IRP. I dynoed the 100 hp, but not these yet and i like to know whats going to happen first. When i get back home and get my new 03 truck going i should have some numbers. I'm hoping for around 950 at the wheels, we'll see i guess.

there are quite a few, industrial injection powered trucks that will top the charts very soon----they will pull between 750-1000+HP, that should be plenty of power for you Oo. :-laf

if yer scared, ship them my way. :D I don't mind breakin stuff. :D

Our Super CP3. 4 and our Stage 8 injectors are very crazy and will make new hp marks this year and will continue in the upward trend as new programing makes it way to the market. There is two trucks being built right now for big hp with our products installed. We will finally change to a large set of twins to see how far the third gens can go up in hp. We have already been testing what should be called Stage 10 injectors. They are smokey at idle but make enormous hp once the turbo is lit. Thanks, Brady

does anyone have any horsepower ratings on injectors or are they just 'Stage 3s', etc, etc?

I think to answer your question about 'when are we going to see some AWESOME fueling on HPCR', I hope that it will be soon with all the CP3's being figured out, the torque management (from PPE and Bully Dog), the new Smarty coming for the 3rd Gens, and hopefully from Don M's injectors (F1 Diesel). I think we can build a big (or bigger) set of twins if needed, but we need to get the fuel to them first.

Just my opinion. I think there will be some BIG dyno numbers put down at Indy.

AWSOME I cant wait.

Do most of you High HP race or pull, or are dyno's your sport.

I made the choice to get away from going fast since my accident, so I may stick to dyno rollers, and pulling if I wont break parts.

Is there such thing as tq managment on a 03 6 speed

Dan, if that's your truck posted in your reader's rides, I would say you are very fortunate to even be here... ... .

HP numbers are fine, but how about uping the torque? Yes I know that the torque rating goes up with the injectors and other stuff, but I'm thinking modifications that would be mild hp ratings, but torque rating in the 2,000+ lb/ft. range. like hp/tq: 600/2000 or 800/2000+.

Would that be possible with these engines?

It would be nice to have a all around super towing machine (hell with going fast or quick), just pure pulling power.

I highly doubt well will ever see a streetable or any 03+ HPRC with 2,000 ftlbs. Better yet 600/2000... .

Your sounding alot like the guy in the 2004 Top Truck Challange with the cummins powered suburban that had 1,200HP and 2,600TQ but was second slowest in accelaration and beat out by a 4banger toy. My numbers might be off a little but I think there close.
