I understand that DC quit installing the vacuum operated cc on the 2001 YM sometime mid-production 2001 YM, but I'm not sure when. My '01. 5 ETH/DEE has a build date of 9/20/00 and it appears that it may not. Does anyone have an idea or possibly know for sure?

TIA!

Bummer. That's what I was afraid of. I was hoping to do a 12v and keep everything working including the cc.

Thanx for the prompt reply Thomas.

Probably no help to you but, I think all the auto trans trucks thru '02 ran vacume, the 47RE's need the kickdown cable to move with the throttle to regulate line pressure.

OK, so here's a question..... I swapped out my auto for a 6 speed and of course lost my CC. If the autos were vacuum, can I get mine to work somehow? I think stick trucks read off of the rearend sensor vs. the transmission. Since I have a D70 (auto application) can a sensor be retro fitted?

Now that I think about it, there were no vacuum lines at the transmission
