When do you check your front end lube?

When do you want to check your front end lube? When you have driven around some and the lube is hot or first thing when all the lube is in the pumpkin?

I doubt it makes any difference, but I do mine cold.

I'm with Michael but do mine warm every time I'm under there draining engine oil. When you get older you try to get the most out of your trips to the floor and don't mind falling asleep while doing it.
