Well, I just got my twin turbos in this past week. I should be tackling that project soon :D Anyway, I'm going to have the head "o" ringed and put in new push rods at the same time. My question is, would it be a good idea to install a helix cam? How much good will it do for me? My use for the truck will still be daily driven for my job, but also drag race it on the weekends when possible. Just wondering if the cam will do any justification for me. Any thoughts

Chris

I can't say too much about a CAM but if you are taking the head off, it is the perfect time to put a new cam on. If you do a cam, make sure you get springs to go with it.

If I was taking off the head for any reason, I would get the head o-ringed, head studs, a cam and injectors at the same time. No sense in going back in there again. Just to it all at one and get it done!

I just noticed you have custom springs so don't worry about the springs
