So, now that I've rolled the magical 100k mark, and am hovering at 100,500 miles after my trip this weekend, can I brag to people that my Cummins is broke in?
Oh, and I don't know what it is about the 100k mark, but on my trip this weekend I got a personal best fuel mileage of 19. 6 mpg!!!! I decided that since I wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere I could just set my cruise at 62-63 mph and go... sure enough, at 499 miles my fuel light has yet to come on, and I have well over 1/8 tank of fuel left. Usually my low fuel light shines at 380-390 miles (15. 5 mpg is my norm). I guess now I know how all you old folks get good mileage...
BTW, don't I get a patch or something for rolling 100k?
