Need Banjo Bolt Info

At what point do the the Banjo fittings and bolts need attention? I would guess installing a fuel psi gauge and checking WOT. What is the min reading acceptable and what is the ideal reading, both WOT. I don't plan, hehehe ya right:D, seriously, no more HP once my stuff gets here. I think I should be around the 300 mark. Do I need to look at this stuff or not? What about pusher pumps at the tanks? Seems like these might be premature. Any input would be appreciated.

playing the banjo

i agree. i'm stock. when i put in the FP gauge, i replaced all the banjo bolts, with the set from Geno's. my memory is about $35. worth the investment and time, as far as i'm concerned. i want the vp44 to have all the nice #2 it wants. btw, i'm running a pusher, feeding the OEM. FP 16 at idle, 12 at cruise. my pusher doesn't have enough capacity at WOT, and i drop to 3 PSI. no more WOT until i replace the pusher with a 70-100 GPH, 7 PSI pusher. i'd like to never see the pressure below 10 PSI, just to be safe!!!!!

Banjo Bolts

If any of you overvalved guys want a set of five banjo bolts, send me an email. I bought a set when they first came out and it was not generally known they were for the 24-valve engines. I will let them go for less than I paid. I do not have the sealing washers but my price will more than compensate for that.

In my opinion the only thing that really needs attention is the line between the filter and the lift pump. those two barbed fittings are only 5/32 in diameter and very restrictive.

replace that one line and you wont need drilled out banjo bolts. or take those two fittings out to 3/16 or better.
