I don't know how true it is, but the dealer told me today they should be on the lots in September.

DC launched the 2002 1500 by building about 10,000 loaded SLTs and SLT-Pluses for dealer stock, then filled customer orders. You should be able to order a 2003 2500/3500 in late July, and it will take about 10-12 weeks. Once the dealers all have a supply to show off as demos/test-drivers, the order time should improve (8-10 weeks).
