The last update on their site says something about the middle of december, but there have been a couple threads here and at the DTR that said that they won't be ready until sometime in the new year. The release date keeps sliding. Hopefully they can iron out the problems and get it out soon! I am patiently waiting.

Did trans (DTT) at 2K, made big difference. Now looking at HP options. Keep telling wife it makes it better.

i see your a dtt trans builder. How much would it be to beef up my 48r. e. to handle about 475 r. w. h. p. that is driven every day. I never tow or pull any load. I bought this truck for fun/performance.

Any word on how power is set? I was hoping for some kind of switch on the fly set up like the BullyDog has.

While I was at Pier's Dynomania back in September, I talked with Bill Kondolay of DTT. He stated that some of his ideas have been put into the new 48RE, and that if you don't tow heavy (over 10,000#) the 48RE should handle 400 to 420 HP without any upgrades.



I guess time will tell.

the 48re "may" be able to handle around 400 ponnies, BUT the torque converter will not. my tc doesn't know what to do with my 305 CRANK hp right now.



what does the DTT tc go for?

i know the ATS unit is around 1400 bones ($$$$$$$$)

I am considering adding the bullybox but might wait for the new Edge. I wonder which would be the best call?



Aside from price, whats the differences?
