where are the 2500s

I have had my HO Quad Cab 2500 4x4 longbox on order since 8/12 with a ship date of 8/27. I finally flipped today when I saw a truck on the lot in Edmonton with a ship date of 9/13. I am so sick of the dealer's BS and excuses,they tell me now that the 2500s have been recalled due to a fuel pump problem. Would love to back out of the deal. Unfortunately they sold my trade a month ago, & have had a 16,000 downpayment since August. Dealer tells me I am committed and will see me in court, nice way to start out . Will give you the name off line if interested. Thanx:-{}

Not sure about Alberta, but sales contracts in Ontario require delivery of the new vehicle within a specified period of time (90 days I believe) or the customer can get a refund of the down payment. Might we worthwhile reading the fine print.



The fuel pump recall is a new one to me.

Was your truck built in St. Louis, if so they are holding all the trucks at the St. louis plant because they had an accident on the production line last week where a truck moved forward unexpectedly and crushed a mans legs. They do not know why the truck moved and they are holding them all to make darn sure it is not a problem. I have a few 2500's sitting there now that are all ready sold and teh customers are getting tired of waiting, but ther's nothing that can be done to speed the process.
