Where are the Heater Hoses on 04.5????

I have around 110K on on 04. 5 and was planning on flushing the cooling system this weekend. I must be blind, because I could not locate the heater hoses to tap into to backflush the system.



I am planning on going back with the HOAT fluid. It has worked fine for 110K miles. I should have checked here first as it looks like most folks have changed over to Cummins.



I was going to cut in a Prestone T as I have on every vehicle I have ever owned, but if the hose is down by the exhaust down tube I may have to rethink that plan.



I couldn't find a drain on the radiator either. Looks like I just have to pull the big hose to drain.



I read every post with the word flush in it and still couldn't find what I was looking for.



BTW, my truck is an 04. 5, 4x4, 2500.

If you look back near the rear of the exhaust manifold you will see the heater hosse,but I myself would not cut any hoses for doing a flush
