I posted this as a stand alone post 'cause a wonderful thing happened this afternoon (Thursday)
After venting on the dealer and Dodge, at 4 pm I got a call from the service manager that our truck was done and ready to be picked up. An alternator has suddenly shown up in UPS after lunch. Ain't life wonderful!!!!!
Don't know how they did it, and won't ask, but thanks PREBUL DODGE OF CHATTANOOGA!
FYI--
The truck is a 2003 Ram 3500 dual wheel Quad cab 4 x 4 w/ HO and Automatic with 1173 miles on it. It is assigned to pull a chemical emergency trailer and has no other duties.
