My trailer left lights get no signal. The right side is ok. I checked all trailer fuses in the Integrated Power Module and they are ok. The schematics from the service manual call for 2 relays in the IPM + some logic in the Front Control Module.

The IPM legend does not show for the trailer anything other than fuses, where the heck are the relays ???

I' tired of going round and round. I'd like to turn left again :D

Thanks guys, Dan

Yeah, I know, this is the schematics I was referring to. See, the fuses are numbered, and this is consistent with the legend in the cover of the box. The relays are not... Could they be hiding somewhere under the fuses, or ???

I have 2 relays that seemed to be spares (eg one was in the adjustable pedal slot, but I did not buy this option). I switched the spare relays but it did not do any better. I did not try to remove both though, to see if both lights would stop working. I will try, tomorrow... Anyway, that would not make sense (different trailer wiring when someone gets the adjustable pedal???).

I think you will find that these relays are not user replaceable and are mounted under the regular fuses and relays where the control computer is. I have listened for the relays with the power center cover off and the relay clicking is in there but nothing is visable.

TTT

Any other clues, anyone ? How could I have burnt a fuse protected device ? Am I the only one? Thanks guys, Dan

Are you plug in the seven pin or the 4 pin ,In front of the rear bumper the four pin is their, check power here, if plug in the four check the seven pin. I am sure your problem is either the pin connectors or fuses.

TWest, the left signal is missing from both plugs.

I will check if there's signal at the fuse box, that would indicate a cut wire or burnt relay and invalidate any computer problem. Dan
