I live in Iowa -- none of the texaco dealers in this area list texaco STF - 1874 in thier books. I've seen posts where others are buying this product. If it is an out of state supplier I will have 5 gallons shipped to my door.

Does anyone have a name and a number for me to call??

Thank You -------- Darren

MTX

Texaco has an 800 number you can call and they will locate the nearest dealer for you. 800 782-7852.

They now call this lube MTX 1874, I have no idea why they changed the name.

Hey Hemmen1, I just did that, I went the dodge dealer to get it ,but after I found that GM uses the same lube in their six speed and it's a couple of $ cheaper at their dealer, you only need 4 quarts.

Good Luck, Rob

NV 5600 Lube

Another member ( Dane ) has posted that he was able to buy this from Monterey County Petroleum for $2. 18/quart. Now, I called them and spoke to a guy named Sam who did not seem interested in my business. But, I think that if he recieved many more calls from those of us who have six-speeds he may just realize that he could make some more money.

So how about a bunch of us calling them at 1 (831) 424-2556 and seeing if we can get them rolling. I would not care if he charged $3. 00/quart. That is a whole lot better than the $10. 50/ quart that the dealer here wants.
