I called partsamerica.com and they informed me they currently do not stock the SKF BR930502 hub assembly; internet price was $194. 99 (w/ free shipping). Local parts house (Napa, O'reillys, etc. ) want $270 and up. Has anyone had any luck finding these cheaper? thanks

Try calling MOPAR4LESS @ (800) 748-2139 and ask for "K", only for "K. "

She is the best parts person I've ever run across and offers the best prices I've ever run across also. When I was transporting and running 14k miles per month and needing parts fairly often I asked her to keep my credit card number on file. I could send an e-mail or call late at night and leave her a message telling her I needed a "xxxxxxxxx" and she would have it in the mail early the next morning.

Once I was at a mechanic's independent shop in IN and he diagnosed a bad A/C compressor clutch on my '06 Ram. He and his parts guy called all over IN, OH, and MI and couldn't find an A/C compressor. It was afternoon. I pulled out my cell phone and punched in "K's" number and told her what I needed. At 10:30 a. m. the next day I was standing in my friend's shop when UPS walked in and handed over the A/C compressor. My friend the mechanic stood there with his jaw hanging open. He was amazed and I only paid about half what he would have charged me for the part.

If you call, tell her your TDR friend Harvey sent you.

Thanks Harvey. Of the 4 bearing houses i've called, only one can get their hands on the hub assembly, for about $350 each. I'll call K.

Please check this old thread, and if you go this route, let us know if it still works!

If you want to chuckle, read down about 10 posts.

Thanks for sharing Wayne. That is by far the cheapest price I've seen. I will call today and inquire.

By the way, I did call "K" w/ MOPAR4LESS and she quoted me $262. 80 ea, no taxes and no shipping if I went UPS ground.

I appreciate all the information guys. James

Well, just got off the phone with Atmus. They're wanting $293. 96 ea plus shipping (in 2-3 weeks). So, looks like "K" is still the cheapest around.

I called my local Schuck's Auto in Boise early last week and ordered them by the SKF number. They got them in in 2 days and I paid $194. 99 each. I now have them in captivity for "that day". If these are getting hard to find for that price, I'm glad I pulled the trigger early! I don't know if it will help, but the local phone number is 208-378-1664.

I just checked the partsamerica.com web site and they show as a good in-stock number. Why don't you try ordering them off the web site and see what happens?

Well, the guy I spoke with said it is not and did not understand why it is showing as in-stock item. I am tempted to go ahead an order but feel I may be in for a long battle trying to get credited back should these in deed be no longer available to us. However, I'll call again this morning to see if anything has changed.
