I've seen people talk about having a flowmaster exhaust system on their truck but can't find were to get one. I've checked the flowmaster web site but they have no application for a 3500. Any info would be much appriecated including product review. thanks.

Flowmaster does not make a kit for a diesel, they are actually not a great idea for them either since a Flomaster is a Chambered muffler as opposed to a flowthrough like in the JRE, Banks, etc, kits. Turbos work better with this style of muffler. I have read of people using them on here, try a search. If you still want to get one, you can buy a universal fit one from www.summitracing.com

thanks EMDDIESEL! Info like this will save me alot of time and frustration. Thats the great thing about the TDR and the web.

Walker 21468

If you are going to stay with the 3" exhaust and eliminate the resonator you mite what to consider the walker #21468. It is a flow thru 3" and sound good.

Take a lesson from somone who's been there. You're much better off with either the staight thru design metioned above or no muffler at all.

   Here we go again. :) Call Flowmaster directly, they make a new Flowmaster for diesels. I really like mine and it has caused me no problems. Until it does its staying on, unless I decide I want to straight pipe, which is very possible. :)

Go with the Walker muffler weather you stay with the stock dia. system or go the 4" route like you might at some point anyway. The Walker sounds much better then the straight pipe.
