Where can I get a sock for BHAF?

Anyone know if someone makes a sock or cover for a BHAF filter?



I took my financee for a ride and she mentioned that the high pitch trubo whine was bothering her.



I'm getting ready to tow my Land Cruiser to Tellico and I don't think she'll want to hear the whine the whole time.



I would prefer not to put the stock air filter just for this trip.

I have the Outerwears Prewrap for the BHAF. Not sure it will quiet it down enough, but I really dont use mine anymore. I noticed that it added a little restriction, and slowed down spoolup slightly.



It was just my opinion, and others might not agree.

Someone posted longtime back that a 6" othorpedic (sp) tube will fit nicely. No telling what a roll would cost, but you could just cut it off as needed. Seems it comes in a roll. Probably different lengths. I have looked at Walmart, and some pharmacies without any luck. Probably a medical supply.

Actually all you are doing is keeping bugs and large objects out of the filter media... . Makes it easier to clean. IMHO
