Otherwise call DC to order a full blown shop manual for your truck. Cost is $100ish. Or you can get a hold of Cummins and get one through them for about the same.
 
Or if you have a good dealer they may copy the pages from the service manual for you. I had a dealer do that for me when I had my old truck.
 
hammersley, there are several nw bombers in your area more than willing to do the job and show you the process



take them up on their offer :)
 
Just get a Haynes manual if you don't want to shell out the bucks for a Reg. service manual. It is in there. <$20, even has drawings.
 
Severl years ago there was a step by step, with pictures, instruction printed in the TDR Mag. I used it to adjust the valves on my '93 and found the instructions very easy to follow.

How far from KC are you? (not familar with where your town is located in MO)... ..... Floor It is in Lawrence, KS.
