Anyone live in the Phoenix AZ area?

Just got back from the Austrian Tyrol, on a snowboarding trip with my son and my 01 3500 CTD never missed a beat. We never had any problems with snow either :p , even though whilst we were there, there was a fresh delivery of powder. Overnight temps bottomed out at 7 Deg. F with the daytime highs almost reaching 26 Deg. F - practically a heatwave by comparison.

BTW, my truck still cannot yodel :{ (even with Grovers !!)

Here are a few snaps from the Annaberg Region in Dachstein West, Austrian Tyrol ... . Enjoy!

Yodeling instructions

I am sure,

next time you drop by, let me have the keys and I'll be happy to teach your beauty a few screams.

Hope you had a nice trip.

BTW: Felix sends his regards to Josh, and he says he's never seen a young fellow his age with such a good command of a foreign language.

The teachers in England must really be something. :D :D :D

Greetings from a new european, stuck in the old Europe

John, Those are some mighty fine pictures- It gives us high country folks a run for our money (almost) here in ski country! Nice scenery. What altitudes are shown in the photos? Here in SumCo and Vail (9,000 ft. ) we had 31” in the past 7 day and is coming down now. BTW- last vacation: family reunion with the fine folks in southern Indiana, summer 2002. -frank

Sorry John. Does nothing for me. We've got places just like that in Kalifornia. Only difference is that we've paved them over and put up condo's!

P. S. Great ****ing pictures!

Elevation

Frank, the piste elevation shown in the previous photos is about 1,650 metres (approx 5,300 feet). There are other areas in the Tyrol where it's almost 2,500 metres (approx 8,200 feet. We go snowboarding here because it's way off the beaten track and for some reason  it's never very busy - obviously we are not complaining!!
