Hey guys. I’ve contacted a few places that reproduce door jamb VIN labels but they all say they need a picture of my old label to reproduce it. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture. I went to the local DMV with proof of my repair and they stuck a ****ty little label on my door. I would really like to get something more official looking. Any ideas? Thanks.

If you don't have access to the old one then you might be hosed. I have cut them out in the past on the original door and then photo copied them and then put them on the replacement door. Go back to the shop that did the work and have them carefully cut the old one off the damaged door.

Most auto body places can get them.

I think my place charges $225 for the thing. A bit pricey.

I never pulled the trigger, I have a photo of the old one as well.

Check out this place maybe, but do some research no clue who they are.

Have you asked your dealer? With all the automation, I would imagine FCA could reproduce one.

Anyhoo, let us know if you figure it out.

I’m thinking of just taking a picture of a similar trucks sticker, doing a little photo shop of the VIN and having a decal place make a sticker. Thing is, I’ve been crossing a lot of international borders lately and the border guys always give me a hard time for not having an official looking sticker from the factory. Anybody out there have a similar truck that could send me a photo? Thanks.
