Quotes are from the Jake Brake parts manual.

"Stalk Switch

Cummins P/N 4089657

Mopar P/N 05102082AB"

This was part of the Jake kit the dealer installed on my truck. It's probably costly, ordered from the dealer but you might be able to get it direct from Jacobs.

We offer a shifter switch for the exhaust brakes... . however its designed to fit the diameter of the manual shift lever..... I've not tired to mount one of these on the gear shift lever on the automatic... . I can only assume they are different diameters and it would just slide down the lever... ... and I think the switch mentioned above would do the same thing.....

I think the Dodge / Jocobs kit is the same for both the manual and auto trans, so I assume the switch inside diameter is the same for both. A layer or two of electrical tape might help if necessary too.

I used a Cup Smoothie from Geno's Garage, it's about $35 and a $4 switch from Radio Shack.

I didn't list the individual parts indicated in the diagram. I'm not savvy enough to just paste the picture in here. They don't show individual part numbers just items and quantity:

Stalk Switch 1

Column Insert 2

Plastite screw 4

Perhaps the "column insert 2" is the shim needed for the switch to fit the column shift lever.

Incidently, the switch works great. Just a toggle mounted in a convenient place would, no doubt, cost much less.

just put the kit in the neighbors truck a couple nights ago. The two plastic inserts make it fit the auto shifter. PN listed is $110 list but not sure if it comes with the inserts.
