where do I find part # 3918461

I cant find a Intake air temperature sensor at any of my local auto parts places and my local dodge dealership didnt have a clue either. Is this still availible? Where? the engine is a 1992 IC 12v. any help would be appreciated.

I looked up this part on www.chryslerpartsdirect.com and it immediately switched to part # 4638643. I assume the part # has been superceded. It lists the new # as an air temp sender for a 99 Cummins.

I just bought mine at the Dodge dealer in Pensacola Florida. My dealer here in town had a listing but they had to order it. Your dealer must just not have known how to look it up.

Hinckley Dodge, Salt Lake City, UT is very good at phone orders and parts support for the 1st generation CTD. 801-484-8755 - ask for parts. This is a large dealership so they stock a lot of parts.

That part is supplied by Cummins. Any Cummins Dealer can get you the part and I bet it would cost less than at any Dodge Dealer.
