where do i get a bhaf?

hello all. I am new to the TDR, and wanted to start out by asking where the heck i can get a BHAF. and if it is even what i should go with. it seems alot of guys are using them. and also want to say that you guys are great and even though i just registered last night, you guys have been helping me for a few months now. thanks.

I think it was around the $45 range dcash. At that time, I think we had the Napa & Fleetgard options. The Napa was at least $10 more at that time.



Frank made up a couple of the heat shields. We got the template from one of the threads here on the TDR. Frank got a couple stop signs from the salvage yard. The only problem was that they are made of hardened aluminum & broke when bent. Ye ol' aluminum welder took care of that.

The Fleetpride deal (see Bob's post) was the best price I found when I bought mine.

I got my mount from Jason Boesl. They are very high quality. I'm very pleased with mine. If you get one, go to your local hardware store and get some 1/8" hose. Split the hose down one side and use it to pad some edges where it rubs wires and hoses. Mine touches the - wire to the battery.
