Attention: TDR Forum Junkies New member here. Not a real technical question. I bought a 92 recently and it runs pretty good. It was, no doubt, purchased as a basic work truck – bench seat, stripped down, no bells or whistles. That’s fine with me, however, the spouse likes to accompany me (and I like having her with me).
I am big as a bear but she is five foot tall. We need to get a few things to make her comfortable on trips. First is some sort of step to help her in and out of the truck.
It seems they stopped making them for anything older than a 94. I have found a generic type that mounts on the lower panel (I wonder how safe/long that will last) and an incredibly expensive electric deal that shoots out when the door opens up.
So the questions are
1. Where can I get a simple solid step that wont break my wallet?
2. Where do you get any accessories for 1st gens?
