I'm picking up my HX40 tomorrow. I've already got a 4" downpipe, and I have a lot of 4" mandrel bends left over from the stacks. I've got a welder, chop saw, etc. and hooking up/fabbing up the downpipe will be no problem.
my only problem is finding the starter stub that has the correct flange for the tail end of the HX40... I went to the truck supply shop figuring it was just a standard v-band connection, but it doesn't appear to be a standard flare.
seems like a shame to spend $150+ for a complete downpipe when all I need is a $10-15 flange
this is an open request to all you twin turbo fab guys... help a brother out.
many thanks in advance,
Forrest
