In my neck of the woods, I have plenty of choices: Napa, Car Quest, Acme, Auto Zone, Advance Auto Parts, and of course the dealer.

When you need a non-brand name part, where do you go? For example, I need a new headlamp switch right now. I don't have any specific loyalties to any one store, and all of them are reasonably convenient. I just want a decent quality part. Where should I go?

I prefer Napa. They have a wider selection and their rebuilt parts are of higher quality. If they can't get it likely no one can. Having a commercial account helps also, big price break.

I second the NAPA vote. I have an account with the one in my town and they can get me about anything (hard parts). The big plus, atleast at my store, is they know their stuff. I also have an authorized Cummins dealer close to my work. They have a great shop and parts dept. I get my Fleetguard filters there. Chris

NAPA has the closest to OEM parts out there. I give my local NAPA parts distributor over $2000 a month in sales. Yes, I am a commercial customer. If you want part that is guarented not to fit and to break with in one weak, go to Advance or AutoZone. NAPA Commercial customers will save more than commercial customers at any other chain. Granted their walk in customer prices are higher, the quality is worth it. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo. Oo.
