Where I can get a red 24v valve cover cheaper than 118.00?

Looking for a new red 24v valve cover # 3943668. The Cummins place here wants 118. 00 trying to get it cheaper!!

Did I read right once where the Black one was never actually made, just a few and a number, and they had to "make good" on some?

Thats bout as good as it gets. Unless you find it on Ebay, just make sure you don't buy one for a motorhome, or you won't be able to add any oil (hole on wrong end).

The Black 24v covers you mention are part of Industrial B engines that are painted all one color at the factory.

Those covers were unpainted aluminum and then painted at one time at the factory with the rest of the engine in Cummins Titanium Black.

Geno's garage has the part # as followed red 3943668, black 3937121, and plain 3941775.

I have the "black" cover, and paid ~$65. 00 about a year ago. It's exactly the same as the red, but I can't find the PN. Be aware... . it is more charcoal in color than deep black.
