Archived where is diode????

Have been suffering with this 99 4x4 3500 3. 54 5 spd since new. It has been brought to my attention by a gentleman that it could be a bad diode. Where is it buried in the wiring harness.

Where do I look for this next item. Want to work on it the weekend please.

There are diodes in the alternator. Outside of that, don't know.



What is the problem? Need more info.

I have been told that there is a diode in the wiring harness in for the relays?

The voltage that comes out of the PDC has a load impressed in it. As seen on a scope. It screws up the way that the vp-44 works. I have checked the ALT and the diodes are good the capacitor measured 15 MFD. Power starts to come on at 1400 and is undriveable below 1700 or at least 1650 rpm. Have wasted over $15,000. 00 tring to fix a factory SNAFU. The batteries looked good on the scope. There is bucking between 1150 and 1275 rpm and low power. Yesterday again I had to reset the APPS and it did have power but above 1400. If you world like could e-mail you some pages for I can't scan them to the readers rigs they seem to be to big.
