from what I see the smarty will fit the bill

that will blow the 19 or 20 yr old tech

mind when he jumps in and nails it

There are a lot of different opinions about what's the "best" I love my Smarty. You must realize however that it does not tap the pump wire so doesn't produce the gobs of power that is available that way. They do work well with big injectors &fueling units like the Blue Chip or TST. The nice thing is that it programs the ECM & is then removed. The dealer doesn't see it at all.

No, just improves economy and egts. A stock transmission should be able to take it I'd think? Not an auto guy- yet.
