I've looked everywhere behind, under, and around the steering wheel and I can't find the factory harness to plug my brake controller into. Where in the world is it at?

wiring harness

You should have a brake controller harness in the glove box that has an instruction sheet of where the hook ups are for your brake controller. Opps, just noticed that you had a Mega Cab. Mine was behind the rear seat in one of the compartments.

It's wrong. I wound up finding the blue connector hookup. It's on the floor beside the main wiring harness, but hidden by wires.

Behind the rear seat? I think we are talking about two different things. They aren't gonna have the hookup for a brake controller behind the rear seat.

not the pigtail to connect to the brake controller, the blue connector already in the harness under the dash, right?

where on the floor? up under the dash near the steering column... ?

Yep, the blue connector for the brake controller. Mine was actually on the floor, located on the left, beside the main wiring harness connection box.
