Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Where is the hottest external case surface temperature on the VP44?

I have gotten my VP44 temps down to OAT +5* (finally). I am measuring the temperature of the electronic bay cover. This may not be the hottest location on the VP44 and hence the question.



I want to monitor the greatest surface external case temperature of the VP44 where ever it is and I have ZERO clue where that may be.
