Mikie,

I think when you did the math, it was not that good of a deal.

Thats probably why Carl (wwcd) deleated it.

Just a guess

Hemi Dart my math skills are just fine ,thank youhere are the numbers!
1. 5% under"true" dealer invoice minus any and all incentives!
example:
msrp $41,445
invoice $36,407
our tdr g/p $34,800(9-30)includes 1k rebate
minus (farm buruea, cdl license, commercial etc). So that is $546 below invoice!!

I am not 100% certain, but I think 1. 5% under invoice would be 35,860. If this can be done nationwide, it would be excellent, but if only one dealer, it might not be so lucrative. There is a dealer in OK that does $100 under invoice, already.

Lets see I paid 100 over invoice so 1. 5% below is better than I got. It is common knowledge that dealers have a 3% holdback and I geuss some are willing to go into these. Is that what is happening here. OBTW I posted this same thread on 24 valve geuss I need to delete it>

i have had a few e-mails wanting to know the phone# for this dealership 1-810-720-9800 ask for Micheal Moore sales Mgr.

Fleet sales prices are different than retail sales prices, the only way to do something like this would be to go to DC fleet sales direct. VERY IMPORTANT is the guarantee of top black book pricing for trade ins at prevailing market rates written into the agreement. It would have to be a national agreement (farm b could be of help in raising the volume) and would take a part time employee to keep good accurate records.

Deal with them (DC) like this and they would make an offer.

There (DC) cost is 5-7-10%% under what the dealer ever could hope to get them. They could arrange the purchase then deliver the truck to a local dealer and the owner would have to pay a local dealer 350 for preping the truck. Volume would have to be 50 to 100 units per year to make them listen the more the guarantee the lower the final price. .

Been there done that and it works until volume falls under the agreed volume level.

Otherwise logistics causes too many headaches for the buyer and seller.
